Volunteer Opportunities: Yes
Selah Freedom's mission is to end sex trafficking and bring freedom to the exploited. We do this through our five life-saving programs: Awareness, Prevention, Outreach, Residential and Organizational Consulting. We bring awareness and education to the community, organizations and faith partners through our speaker's bureau team and law enforcement training. We also advocate for change through legislation. Our Prevention Program equips parents, youth, and those who work with them with the tools they need to avoid being manipulated by a trafficker and successfully prevents girls and boys from being commercially sold. Our Outreach Program is active in the jail system and on the street. It provides support groups, case management, and referral services to men and women currently in "the life," as well as Turn Your Life Around (TYLA), a prostitution court diversion program. We provide Residential Programming for survivors of sex trafficking that includes a personalized education plan, job placement, trauma therapy, life skills, medical and legal assistance, and holistic restorative care. As we bring light into the darkness of sex trafficking, we witness victims transform into survivors and step into their life of freedom!
