Volunteer Opportunities: Yes
The SEEDS of Hope program works in collaboration with local law enforcement, FBI, ICE and numerous community service providers to identify, rescue, and restore victims of all forms of human trafficking.Through our comprehensive case management services we can provide emergency shelter, transportation, clothing, food, victim advocacy, crises intervention and safety planning, medical and dental care, derivative family member benefits, mental health counseling, employment assistance, legal referrals, substance abuse treatment, access to child care, and other service recommendations. We take a holistic approach to the clients' needs and challenges in order to help them move from victimization to self sufficiency. SEEDS of Hope, like all of The Salvation Army's programs and services, are made possible with the support of the community we serve.
Saving, empowering, educating, and restoring dreams to lives shattered by human trafficking. The Salvation Army firmly believes that the abuse and exploitation of human beings through any form of human trafficking is an offense against humankind and against God. We work vigilantly for the prevention of human trafficking and for the restoration of survivors.
