Volunteer Opportunities: Yes
Our work began on the streets and in the slums of Mumbai in 1993, helping the youth and children living in Kandivali railway station and providing skills development training for women in a slum near Bandra. Presently, we have our presence across 5 states in India - Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Manipur. Through the years we have focussed on preventing human trafficking and other forms of violence against women and children, assisting each person to flourish in the context of their community. From working mostly in the destination, we have gradually extended operations in transit and source areas as well. We continue to forge collaboration and cooperation with like-minded stakeholders both in India and outside of the country.
We are committed to working in an inclusive, integrated, empowering and comprehensive way so that all people experience wholeness and fullness of life.
We work to prevent human trafficking and other forms of violence and abuse against women and children, and assist each person to flourish in the context of their community.
