History

Over the last 35 years, Covenant House has grown from a single-apartment unit to an international authority on the issues surrounding homeless youth. In that time, our mission has not changed, nor has our commitment to serving homeless youth. What has changed is our size and scope. Spanning 6 countries and 21 locations, Covenant House provides a complete range of programs from Crisis Care to Rights of Passage and every step in between.

Just as Christ in his humanity is the visible sign of God's presence among his people, so our efforts together in the covenant community are a visible sign that effects the presence of God, working through the Holy Spirit among ourselves and our kids.”
